Vieques weddings already feel magical, but Jillian and her team took it to a level I didn’t even know was possible. I’ll be honest, the “island time” approach had me a little anxious at first. I’m someone who likes to know exactly what’s happening and when, and things felt very easygoing leading up to the day. But the second we arrived, I realized how intentional that energy is. Everything came together so seamlessly that I actually laughed at myself for ever worrying. They truly pull off magic behind the scenes. Getting ready didn’t feel like a production, it felt like hanging out with friends. Jillian is incredibly kind, calm, and completely on top of everything. No matter what we needed, she handled it before we even had to ask. Ada, who did hair and makeup, is insanely talented. I felt like the best version of myself, not overdone, just elevated and beautiful in a way that still felt like me. Jillian’s husband, who photographed our day, delivered photos that are beyond stunning. Every single one feels emotional, natural, and so us. And Aurita, our officiant, is such a beautiful soul. The ceremony felt deeply personal and genuine, not scripted or generic in any way. This experience was everything we hoped for and more. It felt intimate, intentional, and completely unique to us. My biggest advice: trust Jillian and her team, stay open, and let the day unfold. They know exactly what they’re doing, and you’ll be so glad you let go and let them lead.
