La Parrilla

Sadly I have to say that this was our worst and disappointing experience. We were nicely received but after being sat down and order was taken it took them 1 hour to serve our food. The food was not well cooked and the hostess only brought us our drinks once and never came back to check on us if we needed more drinks. I was recommended this restaurant by a very good friend. Please talk to your employees about customer service. Sadly I wouldn't recommend eating here.

I'd eaten at this place before, but it had been a while since my last visit. I used to think it was one of the best casual beachfront restaurants around, with great food and service. But yesterday I went to order lunch, and after being left standing on a terrace packed with other diners and without fans, a rushed employee finally came to take my order. I asked for what I wanted—chilo with mofongo—and he told me it was $50. I asked if they accepted Discover cards, and he told me to pay with another card because they didn't accept Discover. It struck me as odd that a card I use for all my trips wasn't accepted there. So I told him to cancel the order, and he seemed annoyed. I wanted to pay with my card, and I don't want to deal with this kind of behavior from establishments that try to penalize or embarrass customers because they don't offer everything they should. That includes facilities to accommodate a larger number of diners, air conditioning, fans, more staff, someone dedicated exclusively to takeout and pickup, and printing and advertising all the cards they don't accept. This should be displayed outside on something large, like a billboard. Imagine if I had sat down to eat and, after finishing my lunch, they told me they didn't accept my card? A card that's accepted all over the world, except at this grill. I was also tempted to cancel because it was so crowded, hot, and expensive to eat a snapper there.

We waited more than an hour and a half. The food never came so we don’t know. The service was terrible we ever asked for the ticket to pay the drinks and not even, my husband said we are leaving without paying and they said ok. Don’t recommend it.
