(12 hrs total) for something basic. The ER did not have AC that seemed like it was working and there were many flies flying around the waiting room. The cleaning staff seemed to be really attentive so I'm not sure what was going on with the flies Because it was the weekend they did not have many specialists and were unable to complete what I needed and I had to come back. I found that arriving around 6:30 a.m. is the ideal time to come as our wait was not as severe the second time. The nurses and technicians are very nice and everyone who works there but I have found that all of the doctors are nice they will let lie to you left. I caught them in so many lies. It is sad when you're supposed to trust someone with your health and they break your trust repeatedly. There were some staff members there who were fully bilingual and there are some who own these book Spanish. I feel it's important that they get someone doing the intake who is bilingual. Because Spanish is the primary language in Puerto Rico I will never expect people to speak it but in a hospital setting where there could be people from out of town I feel it's important to have bilingual employees in the emergency department especially. Parking was cheap about a dollar for the first 3 hours and 25 cents per hour after. My wife and I will go to a different hospital next time I have to go to an ER. Make sure you always bring your own blanket and pillow in case you get admitted because a lot of people don't realize hospitals in Puerto Rico's only have a fitted sheet on the bed and that's it
