Edrimael Delgado, together with the choreographic assistance of Rafael Cañals, immerse us in a world where the sports structure of basketball was built from a cuir reality, where we are invited to reflect on our relationship with gender. In this sporting spectacle Edrimael gives us the birth of a new athletic identity. Where his performance is not based on the display of his manhood, nor his physical capabilities, but on his ingenuity to do what he pleases with the rules of the game. Mixing languages from the Puerto Rican bomb, vogue and contemporary dance, Edrimael takes us into his universe, where sports objects associated with masculinity no longer serve what they are supposed to, and are used at will to suggest other possible ways of playing, doing and being in the world. Reapproaching the sport from a deep need to heal that part of himself that until today's sun was still unable to get off the bench to play with others. An inevitable way to lovingly embrace what once hurt you.
