Alisios - Culinary Experience by Vientos

We went for our anniversary, and even though we didn't have a reservation, they found us a spot to enjoy. The service was excellent; as I told the waiters, "I want to complain, but they won't let me!" 😆 I tried the Ossouco, which is one of my all-time favorite dishes, and they make it delicious there. They showed us the facilities of the boutique hotel, which is beautiful, and we had a pleasant chat with the owner, who is a very humble person and continues to invest in the growth of tourism and gastronomy in Puerto Rico. A visit not to be missed, and we will definitely be back for other occasions. 100/100

I went to this restaurant with my husband, daughter, and family from the United States after hearing so many recommendations and positive reviews, including one from my best friend. The restaurant is very nice and has a pleasant atmosphere, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. The service was extremely slow. Throughout the entire experience, the waiter kept giving us different explanations for the delay, but the problem was never resolved. The appetizers finally arrived, and I ordered a Thai coconut soup that, honestly, didn't taste good. I thought it was Tom Kha, but when I mentioned it wasn't good, they simply told me that was the flavor of the soup. What surprised me most was that, even after expressing my dissatisfaction, they still charged me for the soup. When the food finally arrived, after a rather long wait, we weren't impressed either. I ordered pasta with chicken parmesan, and honestly, I feel like that dish is better at home. I think the restaurant has a lot of room for improvement, especially in the areas of hospitality and service. It would be important to provide more training for the staff and have a manager or supervisor more frequently present in the dining room to identify problems early and resolve them appropriately. As for the menu, I was expecting something much more creative and different. Perhaps I arrived with overly high expectations after hearing so many recommendations; I even expected an experience closer to what one would find at a Mario Pagán restaurant, but that definitely wasn't the case. It's a shame because the place is very nice and has potential. I sincerely hope they can take these criticisms as an opportunity to improve. For now, unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.
