​We had an absolute blast on the BioBay tour at Mosquito Bay with Black Beard Sports! From start to finish, the experience was top-tier. We were greeted by the owner, Hailey, who was incredibly warm, friendly, and generous with her local recommendations for Vieques. She even drove our group out to the bay and set us up with our guides, Lane and Yadiel. ​We lucked out with an intimate group—just my husband and me, plus one other couple—which made the trip feel super personal. We had plenty of peaceful time out on the water without feeling crowded by other groups. Lane and Yadiel were fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and great at explaining the science behind why Mosquito Bay is the perfect environment for the luminescent dinoflagellates. ​A huge highlight was the glass-bottom kayaks! Watching the water light up directly beneath us as we paddled was pure magic. Lane and Yadiel guided us to some incredible spots where the glow was unbelievable. This is truly a bucket-list experience! My family and friends took the bioluminescent bay tour, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Josué (JJ) made sure we got to the bay safely while sharing fascinating knowledge about Vieques, its history, and its incredible biodiversity. Once on the water, Yadi and Tanner guided us in the clear-bottom kayaks and gave us one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Amazing doesn't even begin to describe it. This company is not only fully legitimate and professional, but they genuinely care about your experience and your safety.
