Excellent option and one of the best dining experiences in Puerto Rico. 100% recommended.

My experience was excellent in terms of the selection of dishes, the service, and the drinks—everything was impeccable. The food was delicious, and I loved the combinations in each dish. The place is beautiful and surrounded by nature. The prices are high, but I consider them reasonable for the experience they provide.

Time to go back to Bohemia Cocina en Movimiento. Previously, I experienced their nighttime offering, so this time I decided to try their weekend daytime experience. Like last time, making the reservation online was super easy. You pay for the food beforehand, while drinks, pairing, and tip are paid at the restaurant. Kassandra sent a detailed message confirming everything, asking about allergies, and giving us directions. I had a question and she answered right away. That day it was raining really hard, but nothing my yellow Bronco couldn’t handle. When we arrived, someone was directing the parking, and they quickly seated our group of five. Being so high up in the mountains, the rain actually made the atmosphere even better. The mist, the views, and the smell of burning charcoal and food being prepared as soon as you walk in really set the mood. We signed up for the 5-course pairing, starting with the Torelló Corpinnat Brut Rosé. Laurens sat with us for a bit and explained the difference between Cava and Corpinnat, which was a nice touch. Add the vinyl playing in the background and the whole setting was on point. First came the Arancini relleno de estofado de res. Really good. I could’ve eaten seconds and thirds, and the whole table agreed. We also ordered some sangria, and I got El Legado, which I highly recommend. By then the rain had slowed down, so we walked out to the deck. The mist covering the mountains made the view look like a postcard. Next was the Breca Garnacha paired with the Pork Belly a las Brasas with puré de batata, miso dulce, and crispy enoki. Great portion, great flavor, and just enough to keep you wondering what was coming next. Then came the Luca Chardonnay with the Sorrentino de ricota, calabaza rostizada y nueces. Another winner. The pesto was really good and everything worked perfectly together. For the main course, we had the New York a las Brasas paired with the Nidus Blend. The steak was cooked medium well with chimichurri de pimientos ahumados, papines confitados, morcilla argentina, alioli de ajo negro, and a quail egg. Those little details, especially the morcilla and quail egg, gave the steak an unexpected twist that really worked. The entire table loved it. To finish, the Cocktail Bohemio came with the Crème Brûlée de miel y lavanda, followed by a little black coffee for the drive back down the mountain. Another great experience from the people at Bohemia. Mariano and Federico really go the extra mile to make sure everyone is taken care of, and the service from Daniel was excellent. Bohemia is one of those places you leave already thinking about who you’re bringing next time. The drive into the mountains, the views, the charcoal, the vinyl, the food, the wine, and the people all come together to make it much more than just going out to eat. If you’ve never been, put Bohemia on your list. Grab a few friends, make the drive up the mountain, sit back, and enjoy the experience. You’ll understand why I keep coming back. 5 out of 5.
