Chotis en Ávila

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Spanish Experience in San Juan Chotis en Ávila was a spectacular gastronomic and human experience. From the moment I walked in with my guide dog, I felt completely welcome, and, something that's very important to me, I was never made to feel different. The service from the waiters was exceptional: attentive, warm, and professional. The food was exquisite. The octopus with potatoes, the rice with Andaba, and the turbot Thermidor were delicious, each with very well-defined flavors and that distinctive and authentic Spanish touch that makes the restaurant's offerings so special. And the perfect ending: the Manchego flan! Creamy, delicious, and truly memorable. 😍 I have to confess that on my way out I accidentally knocked over the cooler where the wine cooler was 😝 Perhaps next time it could be placed somewhere a little less busy and less likely to be tripped over 👌 In short: excellent food, exquisite Spanish flavors, exceptional service, and a truly inclusive experience. Definitely a place I want to return to. 🇪🇸❤️🇵🇷

The service from the waiters and all the staff was excellent, even the valet parking attendant. The paella, however, was far from good. The rice was soggy, but not in the way you'd expect from paella. It only had one shrimp, one oyster, a third of a small lobster, tasteless pieces of fish, and calamari rings. The overall flavor was very poor. I've had much better. A real disappointment.

I can not count how many great moments and memories I keep inside my sould from this wonderful place. This restaurant was one of my wife’s top 3 in Puerto Rico. I said this because she is not with us anymore… But still one of my beloved ones! I still coming back besides the emotional role in my life, but also because the food is exceptional and the service has no match, they are on his own level! The offer is so excellent that I can not describe every posibility. The seafood paella is simply the Best in Puerto Rico and the best ever! But I will share two default items that always I find the perfect excuse to order as “Appetizers”; they are: Fried Calamari with Lemond Sauce and Grilled Prawns. Not excuse if you go there and don’t try them!
