Cueva del Viento

The hike was very nice— a little confusing because the signs are very weathered. We got to the cave and the alarming part was that nothing was closed off — even with it looking like the photos below. Needless to say, we did not go in— it’s impossible and very dangerous. Be safe everyone!

An incredible experience! You must be prepared the stairs are in bad shape we used a tree vine right in front of the entrance , it was not easy but doable. The view once you get down, makes it all worth it. The pictures speak for themselves. Bring a flashlight the cave is dark be careful. There’s a lot of bats but if you don’t bother them, they don’t bother you. Remember, be respectful and treat this place like your home. It was once the home of the Tainos.
