A very, very special place. A welcoming atmosphere and quality food and cocktails. But the best part was how we were treated; Yadira made us feel right at home!

We went to El Estudio in Viejo San Juan on a double date and had such a great experience. Yadira was an amazing hostess. She took the time to tell us the full story behind El Estudio, why it has that name, and its connection to La Carreta, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Everything is incredibly fresh, and I really liked the concept of the smaller menu. It’s the kind of place where you can order almost everything, put it in the middle of the table, and share. Highly recommend the pork belly and the quesos del país dip with the fresh focaccia bread — both were amazing. Great food, great atmosphere, and genuinely warm hospitality. Everything we tried was excellent. Definitely recommend El Estudio if you’re in Viejo San Juan.

We had a great experience at El Estudio in Viejo San Juan. We actually ended up tasting every single item on the menu, and everything was excellent. A few dishes really stood out for us: the pork belly, the ceviche, and especially the pastelón. Each one was different, creative, and full of flavor. The cocktails were another highlight - really well made and definitely worth trying. What made the evening even better was the service. Yadira and team were outstanding from beginning to end - friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. It’s not often that you try an entire menu and walk away impressed with everything. Great food, great drinks, great service, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Michelin star level. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Viejo San Juan.
