This place used to be a must stop for me when in San Juan however my experience there last week was horrible. Party of 3 took us a while to get our initial order in. As all ordered apps and a meal. 2 of our apps arrived but the third never arrived. Then 2 of our meals arrived and the third did not. The server came out and said they had messed up the New York strip my friend ordered and it was the last one would be be interested in something else. He opted for another steak that was pricier. I would have thought the restaurant would have honored the strip price but they did not. We asked for the 3rd app that still had not came out. He finally brings out the app but it was the wrong order , at this point we are here for about 1 hour. Finally my friends meal comes out and his app. At this point our food is cold because we were waiting to eat until our friend got his food. The bill comes and we were charged automatically gratuity which benefited them since we honestly weren’t planning to tip much after the service received. Server handed us the receipt after payment and we thought we were good to go …. I check my credit card statement and the server charged an additional tip without our authorization. I returned to the restaurant to speak to a manager where he immediately refunded the additional tip after bringing to his attention. I would not recommend this restaurant or return in the future.
