A true Puerto Rico mountain adventure! The La Posada mountain retreat is a treat! The location is spectacular, perched on a mountain overlooking the lush valleys. With close proximity to Tanamá river adventures, Taíno ruins, the many adventures Utuado and the adorable community el Roncador, there's a lot to discover in the mountains of Puerto Rico! The La Posada is a beautiful house with an awesome pool, serving up great local coffee and a variety of local treats and beverages (I didn't know there was Puerto Rican bourbon!?), depending on what is available. The owners of this property are building out their dream, one project at a time, always adding a special touch to make the experience unforgettable! Definitely worth a trip, to discover the Roots of Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

José and Cristina are exceptional hosts. From the very first moment, they made us feel right at home thanks to their kindness, hospitality, and attention to every detail. The Airbnb is impeccably clean, very well-equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plus, the view is simply spectacular, both day and night. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to make our own pizza in a wood-fired oven—a unique and fun experience. The pool was also a big draw, as it has a heater and lights, allowing you to enjoy it even at night. Without a doubt, it was a wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope to return very soon. Thank you, José and Cristina, for your warm welcome!

La Posada Mountian retreat is a great place to go to explore, relax and recharge. Jose and Christine are the ultimate hosts. They are accommodating, welcoming and make you feel like you are part of their family. My family spent 3 days there but we fell in love with it immediately. We were unable to do day trips with Christine and Jose but I know that they would make it an unbelievable and unforgettable experience. We will definitely set up a tour with them when we can return. The Pool was so much fun. It is heated so when it is cooler at night it is still very comfortable. We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit. It has air conditioning, we opted not to use it because it was very comfortable for us with the fans and breeze from the mountains. Jose was an amazing barista and treated us to latte’s and americanos each morning. The kids really enjoyed seeing their beautiful creatures especially Mr. Peabody, their ostrich, who was very friendly and Luna,the goat, who acted like a big Labrador loving pets. They have horses and offer horseback tours, my boys were too small but I can only imagine how incredible that would be. By far and away La Posada Mountain house blew us away. The view is breathtaking, hosts are welcoming. Truly and enchanting stay. Thank you so much!!
