Panorama Farm - Appointment required -

Toured this farm August 2026 with another adult, a 2 year old and a 3 month old. The company got back to me extremely quickly to book a tour and also help with my accidental booking the wrong day. The tour was peaceful and relaxing. Janessi started the tour by letting us sip on fresh coffee and enjoy the views from the deck. She provided information about the farm before heading down to do a walk through of the farm and learn about the processing area. It is a small farm, so if you visit remember they roast in small batches! Very good flavor, it is medium bodied and smooth and sweet. I bought a bag at the shop with the cash we had and then bought more at the airport because I wanted more ! When walking the farm, we also got to try guava (I think) and see Achiote growing and bananas ! The farm has a youth program to help the young learn about taking care of coffee, volunteering and learning how to create their own businesses with coffee (soap making...etc). Highly recommend! The mountains views are beautiful and relaxing The drive up is paved but definitely knuckle clinching in some spots being cliff side on both sides in a few areas too. Very curvy roads, but worth the trip. I don't think they have food onsite but they do have water refill!

Panorama Farms is a fantastic educational experience nestled in the hills of Las Marías! This is not a working farm, but rather a thoughtfully curated learning environment designed to teach both children and adults about Puerto Rican agriculture, native plants, and local traditions. The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, accommodating, and clearly passionate about what they do. My 7-year-old daughter had a blast and learned so much during our visit. She especially loved the hands-on elements and picking coffee. I enjoyed the chance to sample some typical Puerto Rican foods. It’s a great option for families with curious children who enjoy nature and learning in a fun, relaxed setting. A quick note: because the farm is built into the hillside, it does involve walking on uneven and inclined terrain. I wouldn’t recommend it for children who can’t walk steadily or for elderly individuals with mobility issues. It’s not a wheelchair-accessible activity. They had some volunteers to translate but some Spanish is helpful. Make sure you follow their instructions and get a reservation in advance. This is way too remote to show up without arranging a visit as this is required. Be careful as the roads are narrow, sometimes steep, and take your time even though the locals tend to drive fast. Watch for potholes and give yourself quite a bit of extra time in your planning for emergencies. Top speed is around 30 mph. We had one issue with an unexpected road closure but the staff pivoted and were unfazed. They even came out to find us. That said, if you’re looking for an enriching, educational outing in Puerto Rico’s beautiful countryside, I highly recommend Panorama Farms! I would do this again.

Very unique experience in the mountains. A beautiful farm, and Emily gave us the most wonderful tour. Coffee tastings included! Highly recommend.
