The Association of Documentalists of Puerto Rico (AdocPR) is proud to present the ninth edition of the 9th Latin American Documentary Film Exhibition in Nosotrxs, which will take place from Wednesday, May 8 to Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the General Archive of Puerto Rico in Puerta de Tierra.
In this edition, we will be presenting 23 documentaries, of which 20 are Puerto Rican productions and three are international, coming from Colombia, Brazil and Argentina.We are proud to pay tribute to Teresa Previdi, an outstanding Puerto Rican filmmaker who has left an invaluable legacy in the documentary film industry. As a previous activity, we will screen the documentaries “The Other Education” and “Ser Familia” by Teresa Previdi through adocpr.org. On Wednesday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m., during the 9th Exhibition, we will pay tribute to the work of Teresa Previdi, our founding member, and we will screen "Beyond the Sun.
"There will be parallel activities such as online film screenings, workshops taught by film industry experts, and the opportunity to interact with filmmakers during panels and Q&A sessions.
Our commitment to the community goes beyond showing films. We want to expand the circulation of Puerto Rican documentary film and encourage its consumption in various audiences, including schools, universities and communities.
