San Juan Puerto Rico; March 4, 2024The Museum of Las Américas is proud to present the great closing concert of its thirtieth anniversary, titled Bohemia de Las Américas, to be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., at the Café Teatro José Luis Moneró from the Caguas Fine Arts Center.

Bohemia de Las Américas will be an unforgettable night, full of music and celebration, which will feature the participation of renowned performers who have left their mark on the Puerto Rican music scene. Among the artists who will join the event are Silverio Pérez, Aidita Encarnación, Jesús “Chuíto” Muñoz, along with special participations from Hilda Ramos and Tito Auger.

“After a year of varied programming around our anniversary, we are excited to present the Bohemia de Las Américas concert, as a great closing party. We invite you to be part of this historic celebration and to join us for a night of music, joy and solidarity at the Café Teatro José Luis Moneró of the Caguas Fine Arts Center. We are waiting for you!,” said María Ángela López Vilella, executive director of the Museum of the Americas.

The concert will be an emotional journey through a Latin American repertoire full of songs that have marked the musical history of Puerto Rico and that have been adopted by the people as part of their collective memory. From traditional rhythms to contemporary melodies, the evening promises to be a unique experience that will resonate in the hearts of all attendees.The admission donation for this unique concert is $75.00 per person. All funds raised will be destined to the development of the public programs of the Museum of the Americas, which support its mission of providing educational, lively and relevant programming, which emphasizes the conservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of Puerto Rico and the Americas. with a firm commitment to the community.

The Museum of Las Americas, founded and inaugurated on October 4, 1992 by Dr. Ricardo E. Alegría, is a non-profit organization. It is located on the second level of the Old Ballajá Barracks in Old San Juan.

The Museum specializes in all manifestations of art from the Americas. Annually, it receives an average of 40,000 visitors, and since its inauguration, over 500 temporary exhibitions have been held.
