The Puerto Rican Institute of Culture, the Museum and Parks Program and the San Germán de Auxerre Church invites the general public to the traditional Lent Mass at the Museum of Religious Art Porta Coeli on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The Holy Mass will be officiated by pastor Daniel Hernández Vélez.
Lent is the time of the Christian liturgical year for the spiritual preparation of the Easter party. It is six weeks of internal purification held in the Catholic, Lutheran, Copta, Orthodox, Anglican, including some evangelical churches, although with different beginnings and durations. Throughout the Lent time, Christians are called to reinforce their faith through various acts of penance and reflection.
The Santo Domingo de Porta Coeli Museum of Religious Art is located on Ramas Street Dr. VEVE in Santo Domingo Square in the municipality of San Germán and is attached to the Museum and Parks Program of the Puerto Rican Institute of Culture.For more information, call 787-892-5845, ext. 3081
