After Alicia Alonso invited Ana García in New York to be part of the first generation that founded the National Ballet of Cuba, and to release together in 1955 the Ballet Giselle in Puerto Rico, both companies renew their fraternity ties. The National Ballet of Cuba, founded in 1948, is considered by the culture of international dance, between the first companies worldwide and one of the most prestigious in Latin America and the Caribbean. His artistic and choreographic excellence makes it worthy of the praise of the international press. The production will be in charge of the prestigious Ballets de San Juan company, close to celebrating 70 years of educational and cultural work on the island. The staging will be in charge of the first dancer and current artistic director, Viengsay Valdés, along with 46 artists who will travel directly from Havana to make possible the presentation of the ballet on the island.Events container news policies Privacy Terms and conditions of use.
