Verify your dates and make sure you are aware of all applicable fees before committing to your accommodations. Fees below are based upon two guests for a two night stay during the week, unless otherwise mentioned. 

Dome house in Orocovis

Orocovis lies in the interior of Puerto Rico. The location makes a great jumping off point for Toro Verde Adventure Park, Toro Negro forest and various rivers in the area. 

A luxurious dome with mountain views, it is close to local restaurants for ease of dining. The 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom dome sleeps two adults. The dome is fully equipped with a queen bed, WiFi, A/C, bathroom, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Outside they have a swimming pool, jacuzzi, outdoor shower, gazebo with grill, as well as an outdoor patio with an umbrella and sofa. They provide champagne and water for your stay. Pets are allowed.  $235 per night for midweek, $50 cleaning fee, $73 service fee (adjusts based on how many nights are reserved). 

Lakefront in Utuado

This gorgeous lakefront location is a one bedroom home in Utuado. The municipality is located in the heart of the Cordillera mountains. It has a large lakeside deck perfect for sunbathing or fishing right off the deck. Offering A/C, a hot tub and WiFi, it is a good place to work remotely or take a break and enjoy nature. On weekends there’s a boat ride available to access nearby restaurants. Near Cañon Blanco it is conveniently located for eco-tours, fishing charters, hiking trails, waterfalls, lakes, historic landmarks and plantations.  No pets allowed.  $673 for two nights which includes its nightly rate of $265, $60 cleaning fee and an $83 services fee. 

Utuado Treehouse

This “Treehouse” offers two bedrooms which sleeps four individuals, making it an economical choice. The wooden, three level cottage loft is 10 minutes from the town center of Utuado giving it easy access to restaurants. They provide basic amenities for cooking and bathing but there is no WiFi or TV, making it a great place to unplug. It’s a reasonable $388 for two nights which includes the nightly rate of $150, $40 cleaning fee and $48 service fee. 

Treehouse in Rio Grande

This is a unique one bedroom, one bathroom treehouse with a private pool in Río Grande, it sleeps two. Overlooking the river, it has A/C, Wifi, and well thought out eclectic decor. The location is an ideal place to rest after a day of hiking in nearby El Yunque. For two nights it would be $468 which includes the nightly rate of $180,  $50 cleaning fee and $58 service fee.

Treehouse in San Germán

Treehouse of the Royal Palm is a true treehouse experience as it is 20’ in the air, accessed by a spiral staircase. It sleeps five individuals with two beds and one bathroom. Located in San Germán this edifice is reminiscent of Robinson Crusoe, stranded in the jungle. San Germán is a unique town in the south side of the island, as one of the oldest settlements in Puerto Rico the town is worth visiting. There are a number of local hikes, waterfalls and places to explore. You can also make the journey to nearby La Parguera which is about a 20 minute drive away. At $145 per night (for two guests), with a $35 cleaning fee and $46 service fee it totals $371 for two nights during the week. 

Treehouse on a Farm

Yuquiyú Treehouses

Located on a small farm in Río Grande are four treehouses to choose from for your stay. They provide organic, meat free food onsite and cook dinners for you if you make your request two days in advance. The experience is more “glamping” than a hotel room. The buildings overlook the river and jungle, allowing you to take in the sights and sounds of the jungle. 15 minutes to the heart of El Yunque rainforest, 20 minutes to beaches, 35 minutes from San Juan. $300 per night.

Island Hop in a Mega Yacht

The Mega Yacht is based in Humacao and sleeps 11 with its five bedrooms and six bathrooms! The three level yacht has granite floors and countertops, WiFi throughout and TV’s in each stateroom. Just a one hour boat ride from Vieques (stay to see the bio-bay) or Culebra (Flamenco Beach and Culebrita), they will take you out to the nearby islands for a fuel surcharge. The yacht has sailed to the Bahamas, Dominican, Turks and Caicos from its berth in Palmas del Mar. It’s a great way to travel and stay in your own luxury “hotel” on the water. There’s a chef on board to cook the food you supply. $2000 per night, cleaning fee of $200, service fee $597 and taxes are $335.79 totalling $5132.79 for two nights before leaving the harbor (fees are the same with a slight change in tax whether you reserve for 2 or 11). There is a fuel surcharge, please contact them directly to figure out surcharge costs and make destination arrangements. 

Sustainable Earthship

The Earthship is on the west side of the island near Aguada. The earthship is a unique sustainable community built in the jungle and surrounded by fruit trees. The buildings are all made from recycled materials. There are a total of seven domes all made from cans, bottles, car tires and soil/clay/dirt. They offer 25 minute tours and share about sustainability. It’s a great place to get off the grid for a couple nights and enjoy nature. The cost of your stay is reinvested back into the community. It is $79 per night plus $40 cleaning fee and $28 service fee making it a total of $226 for 2 nights during the week.

Beachfront Container Hotel

Dos Mares Guest House and Restaurant

The Dos Mares guesthouse is a beachfront location in Patillas. The well appointed guest houses are made from shipping containers. While they can sleep four if your kids are younger, for four adults or teens you will be more comfortable renting two guest houses. The property is small and intimate so they won’t be too far away. Open the sliding doors and listen to the waves, the containers each have a small front deck with a hammock for relaxing. The owners have a small restaurant on site with amazing food, check to make sure it’s open for your stay. If not, they will make a recommendation for another location nearby. Email them for a price quote and reservations for your stay. It is $105 per night plus tax per container.
